Only 4 bucks?? Why don't all stereos have it already?? I would get an airplay enabled player even if i hadnt had any apple product in my house, just that my friends could use it from time to time... (too bad they dont sell ATVs in my country...)

Thank you for your hard work on the folding widget redeye_be. I'm sure that it's a labor of love. Improvements are always welcome. Will be something to look forward to when I upgrade to Tiger.

As soon as Sandybridge based MBA's arrive, I'm buying.
Don't want an outdated C2D and Nv's video chipset, I've seen the HD3000 in action and it's very good. Does everything I want and much more.
From what I read, the Intel HD 3000 is actually better-performing on OS X than the Nvidia 320m. People are paranoying this Intel 3000 issue like it's the plague, while in reality they are basically the same in terms of performance.
I don't have the money, but if I was to buy a MBA, I'd surely buy it once the Sandy Bridge version came out.
You guys are forgetting that the LV and ULV version of the HD3000 is underclocked compared to the normal voltage version. So while the normal ones are the same as the 320M, the underclocked LV and ULV ones are definitely not going to match up to the 320M.

had gas once... very very weird... felt like floating off of the table, until i was out cold... coming to after the procedure was weird, very dreamy- brother had to fireman carry me to the car... slept the rest of the day

I'm all for more agencies adopting Macs! Heck, one day we might be able to classify them as switchers :D
You do understand that it's not that they're adopting them as their primary system for day to day use, but rather they're purchasing more because (with the slight increase in popularity of the OSX platform) they have to be able to counter said OSX threats.
They're mirroring the increased OSX hacker population. This isn't really anything for any Apple fanboi to be proud of.
Someone recently said Windows is a house with bars in a bad neighborhood and OSX being a house without locks in the country.
That being true, the FBI is just reacting in the expected manner to the increasing the number of criminals in the country (due to the increased number of country houses).

I am looking for the full schedule for the developer conference. Specifically, I need to know when we will be done on Friday. This will help me book my tickets back to my town. Can someone help me with this? ( If there is another thread specifically about the developer conference, please point me to that as well. )
Friday is usually the miscellaneous sessions day, when the less important (or popular I might say) sessions are held. Of course you can leave whenever you want but Friday is still a full day. I would plan on staying the entire day if you can. Leaving Saturday morning is best as you can relax on Friday :)

If you are concerned about letting friends see where you are, create a list called "placesfriends" and use privacy settings to only show your "Places I check in" to friends on that list.

I just pulled my sim card out of my Motorola T720 and threw into my mums nokia something or other. It works fine, I'm not sure what problems your having
I am now in correspondence with the webmaster over this issue.
The problem is when I click Next from the main WAP page I get a Response Unknown error on my phone, this occurred with a Nokia 7210 and my new 3200.
The error usually means invalid characters are on the page, or the MIME type is not compatible with phone.

I got an answer from the VLC forums. To do this you need to go into the preferences for VLC and select "all"rather than "basic" for the preferences, then select the "Stream Output" heading and uncheck "Enable video stream output".
I also changed the encapsulation method to "Raw" rather than "Quicktime" because for some reason it otherwise wouldn't import the mp3 files into itunes (I'm guessing it's something to do with ID3 tags). this then gives me file sizes around 6mb depending on the bit rate used and song length.
In summary to get the audio from a DVD using VLC change the above preference settings then under the "Open Disc", choose "DVD" and "No DVD Menus" then change the MRL to the chapter of the DVD you want audio from e.g. 1:3 is chapter 3, then select "Streaming/Saving" and go to the "Settings". then in the file space name the file you want to create including .mp3 extension, then choose Raw encapsulation, mp3 transcoding and whatever bit rate and channels you want.
In similar fashion I believe you can use VLC to grab audio mp3 from flash .flv files

I'm picking up Rabbids 3D tomorrow.
Ridge Racer is a slow burner and has grown on me. Really enjoying Lego StarWars, however the space combat levels are pants. PilotWings is my biggest let down. There's nothing that 'bad' about it - it's just that it doesn't have the magic of past pilotwings.

Interesting random feature: in PowerPoint, if the author's name happens to be French, the spellchecking language is set to French, regardless of the UI and OS language being US English. Bleh.

Can't wait to see what they announce. It would be nice to see a bigger jump than usual for iOS and hopefully a shipping date for Lion.
My thoughts exactly. I've been awaiting the SB Lion OS iMacs for the longest time now. I cannot wait-looking forward to any more news on this front!

I wasn't very fond of the utility panels on Mac OS X until I discovered that most of them were the same across a number of applications. After that I kind of love them for their consistency.
And for the record, I hate the cluttered toolbars in Word.

I'd actually pay a little extra to get Lion on a read-only USB drive. I've had to reinstall SL a few times (new computers, testing, new hard drive, etc) and reinstalling (heck, even booting) from optical media is painfully slow.

I love Nintendo and thought they made great portable gaming systems but I think this is a serious misstep. I reserve my final judgment until I get my hands on a system myself.

It seems these ads are almost a carbon copy of US versions which are translated into Japanese.
Except for the first one, which is a play on words with "Mac" and "work," which when pronounced in katakana Japanese rhymes with "Mac."
In that US version ad, the Japanese chick says the PC guy looks like a "otaku." I think "Otaku" is roughly translated to homeboy (stay-at-home guy or geek).

Wallpapers are good to decorate personal computers according to the desire we can put any wallpaper as On Christmas Season people like to put Santa and Christmas tree. Christmas poems is written on side that inspire when read it.
