I've driven through Valle Crucis (http://www.vallecrucis.com/) a couple times, but never stayed. It's a gorgeous, isolated N.C. mountain town. May be farther than you're willing to drive, though--I'd guess about 8 hours from Maryland.

Also For a 5th gen leaked ipod its pretty beaten up. I mean if i had somehow got a prototype i would keep it in a glass cabinet surrounded with cushions to stop it getting beat up. And wouldn't it run iOS5 if its the fifth generation? so why doesn't he tell us about that?

Another example I've read (subway farecard) would tell people that I'm subway rider 25879346 or something. I've also read about using it as a credit card, which would require a PIN number to use. Anyone can currently snap a photo of you handing a card to a cashier, so it's no different from that.
None of these are shouting out anything about who I am. If you're critisizing something else, you'll have to actually tell me what you're talking about since it hasn't been mentioned here yet.

The Liberals deserved it, they need a new leader and this is a big wake up call. The NDP deserved what they received as well. But thankfully we won't waste more of taxpayers money on elections until 2015!

Where do you think the Thunderbolt port might even go in the Air? Will it replace one of the USB ports? Doesn't seem like there's really that much room... thoughts?
As mentioned, it'll take up a bit more space inside for the Thunderbolt controller but it'll simply replace the existing Mini DisplayPort so it becomes a 2-in-1 port on the outside.

Certain images can really require specific gear (including lighting gear), but often a bad image isn't about the gear but about the choices made by the photographer at the time of capture.

Better gear does not make anyone a better photographer. HOWEVER, it can drastically improve the TECHNICAL aspects/results. If you want to make large posters of your pictures, then there are natural limits to what you can do with, let's say, a 6 MP camera.

Get a feel for what a photo will look like before you even begin processing/developing it. The beauty of digital photography is that you can shoot as much as like without depleting your bank account - analog photography was more expensive to learn.

Oh please. If the NDP had got in then Canada would be royally screwed. The NDP has a poor record in a number of provinces of running the provincial governments into deep deficits and scaring away businesses.
I would take the opinion piece from someone with the Toronto Star with a little bit of salt. They are like the Huffington Post of Canada or a left leaning Canadian version of those British tabloids that they try to pass for "newspapers" in England.
So, I should not take Harper's word on his beliefs regarding social issues? Really? Do you really want to put money down that he won't act on those beliefs?

The fact that a big sticking point in all of this was the social conservative nonsense about abortions and planned parenthood is just ridiculous. If this is all that many of our politicians can think about in times like these, we're ********** doomed.

Yea see I don't like his campaign. I recently watched an interview and he said he would renegotiate with China about our debt and the lady said you can't just call a nation and do that and Trump said with the right people you can do anything. I laughed so hard at that. China is not just going to cave in to your requests. And also the only thing his "campaign" will run on is the birther issue which will get him nowhere.

No way I'd buy something that expensive with Intel HD 3000. If you need the CPU of a sandy bridge processor get a MBP. The current gen of MBA is such a better mix of CPU/GPU for what the device is meant for.

Just checked into an Apple Store in Salem, NH - they have high end Verizon iPad 2 and they have had them regularly. Asians have been scooping up the stores other versions each morning in cash sales (or purchasing mall gift cards and Apple gift cards).
They said consumer demand is much greater for AT&T (GSM) iPad 2 than Verizon.
I'll wait for my wifi iPad 2 to arrive in the mail sometime next week.
